Wisconsin Rapids Community Media is a PEG channel which is a type of public access television channel dedicated to Public, Educational, and Government programming. This channel provides the Wisconsin Rapids community with a platform to share information, broadcast educational content, and cover government meetings and services. In addition, the department also provides an open media source for local residents to learn and produce their own multimedia projects. This material provides a medium for information, promotion and entertainment serving the Wisconsin Rapids community.
Our programs are available on cable television, Roku streaming and online/mobile devices. As time permits, the multimedia coordinator assigns projects to volunteers who are registered through WRCM requested by local governments, non-profit organizations and schools.
